When leaders face uncertainty, they often ask, “What should I do next?” But the better question - the one that separates reactive leadership from intentional leadership - is:

“Who do I want to be right now?”

That single question lies at the heart of my book, Choose to Be Your Own Champion. Because in every decision, whether strategic or deeply personal, we are always choosing.
We choose clarity over confusion.
We choose courage over comfort.
We choose to lead with purpose rather than react from pressure.
And yet, in the fast pace of leadership, we often forget that choice is a power—not a passive response.

The CHOOSE Framework for Intentional Leadership

The CHOOSE Framework isn’t theoretical. It’s a six-step playbook for leaders who want to move from autopilot to agency:

C - Clarity:

Create true awareness. When leaders operate without clarity, teams drift. Clarity creates direction and confidence.

H - Honor:

Honor your feelings. Your emotions are data indicators, not dictators. Lead from integrity. Honor means aligning your feelings with values, even when it’s inconvenient. That’s how trust is built—slowly, consistently, and visibly.

O - Openness:

S- Strategy

Move with intention. Choose your sage power. Strategy isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing what matters with precision and focus.

Take aligned action. Knowledge changes nothing unless it’s lived out through consistent practice. Leadership grows in the doing.

This framework wasn’t born in theory - it was shaped by experience, by moments of uncertainty, and by choices that required courage and alignment.

When I launched this book, I wasn’t just sharing insights; I was issuing an invitation:
